Seasonal Restaurant Server (Part-time)

Reporting to: Sr. Operations Manager

Job Description:

PERFORM ALL FUNCTIONS AS A SERVER:

  • Ensures proper set-up for all tables for assigned stations
  • Inform customers about the nightly menu
  • Receives customer’s order for any food or beverage that varies from the set menu
  • Pick up and serve orders in prompt and courteous manner according to established service
    standards
  • Check customers are enjoying their meals and correct any problems
  • Refers complaints on food or service to the Manager
  • Cooperates closely with the other servers to ensure that prompt service is given at all
    times.
  • Assists in maintaining restaurant cleanliness
  • Provides excellent customer service to all guests
  • Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress
  • Follows company policies and procedures

Education & Qualifications:

  • Smart Serve certified
  • Minimum of 2 years of serving experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamv
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with cash control
  • Able to work shift work daytime, evenings & weekends
  • Successful candidate must arrange for own transportation home
