Objective: Assist in attaining the highest quality of cleanliness for the hotel
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the overall cleanliness of the hotel by cleaning public areas such as washrooms, lobby, pool area, meeting rooms, staff room, and restaurant and / or any other areas as requested.
- Cleans, sanitizes, disinfects and polishes bathroom fixtures and appliances in main washrooms as well as meeting area washrooms.
- Picks up debris in public areas and empties waste baskets in offices.
- Washes windows, wall, woodwork and ceilings as required.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Report repair and maintenance needs.
- Maintains proper care of carts.
- Assist guests with requests as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Rooms and Management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience an
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts in the evenings, nights and weekends.
- The ability to work in a busy environment without supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and detail oriented.
